@Jen: According to my dictionary it is called a Red Deer in English. In 1993 they started with 57 and now they are with almost 1900!

Far out are they wild or on a farm?? I've never seen so many in one place.

@Colour blind: These are wild deer. They have a very large area to live and have to find there own food. Last year we had a big discussion in Holland, because every winter a big number of animals dies because of lack of food. People said it was cruel. Personally I think it is sad, but this is nature. This way you have a natual selection between strong and weak animals. The good this is they leave all the dead animals in the area to attract birds of prey. And it works!
