Thanks for all your nice comments. We also saw a herd of wild Koniks horses.
Nice shot, I don't think I've ever seen horse like those. Are all of them usually that color?

@DTW: The colours vary but are usually like this.
Wonderful soft colours, are they friendly, or wild?

@Bronnie: These are wild horses, you can't touch them. See my fighting horse photos in the next few days.
What beautiful horses, their coloring is so unique!

@Jen: They all have a slightly different colour. It's great to know that they started with 20 horses in 1985 and now there are around 950 living in the area. Apparently there is enough food for all of them.
Beautiful!

Wow, wonderful capture - nicely framed too, you've captured the nature of these wild horses very well.

You have some great shots - makes me want to visit this place. I'll have to see how to get here from Brussels. I've been missing wildlife photography. Not a lot of opps to do that in Brussels city!

@Jason Kravitz: If you go there, makes sure you book a trip in advance, thats the best way to see the area. But, walking in the area you are very likely to see all the big animals yourself as well. How is your Dutch? For more information see www.oostvaardersplassen.nl
